Occupational Therapy for Kids and Young Adults
All About Therapy offers Occupational Therapy services across North-Western Tasmania for paediatric and young adult clients. Led by experienced Occupational Therapist Kate Berchtold, the service supports children, young adults, families, schools and support teams to build the skills needed for everyday life.
Our Approach
Our approach is neuroaffirming, family-centred and strengths-based. We focus on helping children participate successfully in the activities that matter most to them at home, school and in their community.
Whether your child needs support with daily routines, learning, play, emotional regulation, sensory processing or independence, we provide practical strategies tailored to their individual needs and goals.
Occupational therapy supports children to develop the skills needed for everyday activities, including:
- Fine motor skills such as handwriting, drawing and using scissors
- Sensory processing and sensory regulation
- Attention, concentration and classroom participation
- Emotional regulation and coping strategies
